Marriage Announcements

Denslow ~ Brace

One of those pleasant events wherein two hearts are made to beat as one, and two souls start out in life together with heart and hand, took place at the residence of G. C. Brace, Larrabee, Iowa, on last Tuesday evening, Nov 8th, when Mr. Albert M. Denslow and Miss Cora E. Brace were joined in the bonds of holy matrimony by the Rev. T. J. Gray of Meriden, Iowa. A large number of friends and relatives, almost a hundred, had gathered together by invitation from Illinois, Cherokee, and the immediate neighborhood about Larrabee to witness the ceremony.

The father and mother of the bride, whose affections have always been adoration, were anxious that their daughter should have a "big wedding," and such it was in every sense of the word. A sumptuous meal had been prepared for the newly married couple and their invited guests; and so after the ceremony was performed, and the congratulations were bestowed upon the bride and groom, all were permitted to surround the table loaded with a bountiful supply of provisions. It was surely a rich feast of good things. The occasion was one of joy and happiness to all who where present. Great credit is to be given Mrs. L. F. Denslow and Miss Etta Jordon, whose supervision was the wisest and most pleasing, and who made all the guests feel comfortable and at home.
