Obituaries from Clay County, IowaL. C. McCoy Conductor’s Funeral The funeral of L. C. McCoy, 45 years old, who died Thursday evening at St. Mary’s hospital, was held yesterday afternoon from the residence, 207 West Second street. The body was sent over the Northern Pacific last evening to Spencer, Iowa, his former home, for interment. Mr. McCoy was yardmaster for the Northern Pacific in this city for several years. Recently he accepted a position as conductor for the Chicago, Milwaukee & Puget Sound railway and had returned to the city to move his family west at the time he was taken ill. Mr. McCoy is survived by a widow and two children. He was a member of the Masonic and Elk lodges as well as the B. of R. T. Brian K. Trierweiler Jackson, MO– Brian Kelly Trierweiler, 43, of Jackson died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008 at his home.He was born Jan. 12, 1964 in Spencer, Iowa, son of Peter William and Lucy Maureen Spence Trierweiler. He and Chris Morrison were married May 7, 1997. Trierweiler was a carpenter with Union Local 1770 in Cape Girardeau, MO, and member of Altenthal-Joerns American Legion Post in Jackson.He served in the U. S. Navy from 1987 to 1990. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Tyler Trierweiler of Jackson; Dustin Trierweiler of the home; a daughter, Casey Trierweiler of the home; his mother of Ruthven, Iowa; and two brothers, Clint and Tony Trierweiler of Greenville, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his father. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 9, 2008) at the funeral home, with John Lanier officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery with full military honors. Contributed by A.
