Mrs. Emily Christenson was a Webster City caller Wednesday of last week.

Mrs. Ben A. Anderson and Mrs. P. J. Christenson of Rake, were recent guests at the Mrs. Emily Christenson home.

Clarence and Donald Christenson, Peter and Raymond Frette, Wilmer and Ray Hanson were passengers to Webster City Friday.

Jerome Pederson visited over the week end with his aunt, Mrs. Sherman Sunnes.

Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Moe and Beatrice spent .Sunday afternoon at the John Tweed home.

Miss Harriet Maakestad spent a few days with Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Maakestad, at Algona, last week.

Mrs. Maakestad and daughter, Harriet, were Sunday guests at the J. N. Peterson home.

L. E. Nelson was a business caller at Story City last Thursday evening.

Mrs. Maakestad returned from her trip to Minneapolis and Algona last Thursday.

Misses Nellie Littlefield and Rachel Vangness shopped in Des Moines Saturday. Miss Hazel Mendell left Friday for her home at Dows. She returned Monday.

J. K. Johnson and A. A. Burke are the delegates from Randall that attended the Farmers Grain Convention at Fort Dodge last Wednesday.

Harris, Carl and Jordan Johnson visited at the A. C. Henderson home last Sunday.

Miss Elizabeth Smylie spent the week in Ames. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Olson entertained the following guests Sunday at dinner in honor of the baptism of their baby: Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Jacobson, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Olson and daughter, Beatrice, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Olson, and Mr. and Mrs. Willie Gabelelson.

Word was received here that Mandus Teig held a closing out sale, March fifth, at Winnebago, Minn., and will, quit farming.

Robert Kalseim recently went to Chicago with a carload of cattle. Enroute he will visit relatives at different points.

The annual school election was held in the town hall Monday, March 10th, from 1 o'clock to 6. J. H. Sparboe and T. G. Pederson were elected directors; and Miss Lulu Seymour was elected treasurer. 95 ballots were cast.

Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Perringer are the proud parents of a baby boy born March 7th. Name, John Elison.

Miss Agnes B. Tangjerd of St. Paul. Minn., lectured at the Elim church recently. She spoke about the Jewish Mission and what they are doing to bring

Jewish people to Christ. It was worth while going to hear, and we hope at some time she will favor us again.

Carl Larson returned to his home at Kenyon, Minn., after a weeks visit with relatives at Jewell and Randall.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Thompson and children spent Thursday of last week at the H. B. Hanson home.

Dr. and Mrs. W. H. Willson were recent guests at a six o'clock dinner at the home of Mrs. G. A. Kalseim at Story City.
