Lucinda Livengood Findley

MRS.L.FINDLEY DIES TUESDAY
Summons Came After Short Illness From Pneumonia
MOTHER OF MRS.SHERLOCK

Mrs. Lucinda Findley died at her home in Williamsburg Tuesday, after a short illness from pneumonia. She was in her 77th year, and owing to her advanced years she fell an easy prey to the insidious ailment.

The funeral service was held on Wed. afternoon at the home , conducted by Rev. H.N. Poston. Interment was in Oak Hill.

The deceased was a native of Indiana, and was for many years a resident of Kansas. Eight years ago she came to Williamsburg where she might be close to her daughter, and during her residence here she became endeared to all who acquired her acquaintance. A woman of unquestioned strength of character she was, and her well-trained mind was stored with a wealth of gleanings from many fields. She took the liveliest interest in civic affairs, and her comments on current happenings always commanded respect.

To the bereaved relatives, the sympathies of the community are extended.
