Born in about 1924, was a resident of Cedar Rapids, Linn County, Iowa.
Carl enlisted in the U. S. Army on April 14, 1943.
Died in a tragic glider crash on December 12, 1944, at Greenham Common Airbase, Newbury, Berkshire, England.
Burial took place in 1948 at St. John’s Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, Linn Co., Iowa.
