Appears the cemetery was in place then as the earliest date of a burial is that of Mary Emily Everist
10 July 1851- Daughter of Benjamin Franklin Chesney Everist & Emily Jane Hartman Everist.
The one square acre of land for this cemetery was deed to the 1st Methodist Episcopal Church
in Bangor Township, Marshall County Iowa on 31 March 1865 by Ezekiel & Susan Everist for the sum of $10.00.
This Cemetery is located at the corner of 155th St & Hopkins Ave (S62) on East side of road about 1 mile North of Minerva Iowa.
