Stan Ackerman
Oklahoma City, OK--STAN ACKERMAN, age 76, born April 2, 1915 in Red Oak, Ia. and passed away May 12, 1991 in OKC. He was retired owner of a private school, a WWII Navy veteran, and member of Douglas Ave. Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Arline, of the home; a son, Neal and wife, Karen Ackerman of OKC; 2 granddaughters, Kristen and Jennifer. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid, Ok.

Donald Bailey
Oklahoma City, OK--BAILEY, DONALD D., age 77, OKC, passed away Feb. 3, 1991. He was born Dec. 28, 1913 in Red Oak, IA, and came to the metro area in 1940. He served in the army during both WWII and Korea, and had worked as a shop foreman for the Central State Hospital in Norman. He was an active member of the Hillcrest Presbyterian Church where he was an elder, deacon, and had held many other church positions. He was a 32nd Degree Mason with the Myrtle Lodge and the Guthrie Consistory, member of the Modern Woodman of America, member of VFW. He is survived by his wife Alice of the home, sisters Georgia Vanderhoof of Aurora, MO, Frances Day of Moore, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at a visitation 7pm-8:30pm, Tuesday at Vondel Smith Mortuary South. Services Thursday at the Nelson-Boylan Funeral Home, Red Oak, IA. Vondel L. Mrs. Harriett Binegar
Mrs. Harriett Binegar, a resident of Red Oak since 1910, died at her home, 406 Oak Street, Tuesday, October 17, 1917 from liver trouble, after illness of several months. The funeral will be held today, prayer being offered at the home by Rev. Blakely, after which the remains will be taken to Pilot Grove Cemetery for burial. Harriett Louisa Buss was born March 1, 1858 in Wisconsin, and was married in Red Oak February 17, 1875 to John Binegar, who died in 1909. Since that time Mrs. Binegar had lived in Red Oak. She is survived by six children, Mary Holmes, Alfred, Anna Bashaw, Ortha Gotobed, Nellie McDonald, and Velma Taylor. The deceased was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. She leaves many friends who extend sympathy to the sorrowing family

Nathan G. ''Nick'' Lamb, 34, Red Oak, IA, (formerly of Kansas City, KS) passed away March 9,1998, after an extended illness with Lou Gerhig's disease.
