MURTY NICKLAS
Mrs. Murty Downey Nicklas. 81, 2002 Logan St., died at 11:20 p.m. Tuesday at the Hershey Convalescent Home.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Geo, M. Wittich Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation began at noon today.
Murty Downey was born Aug. 6, 1894 at Millersburg, m. , the daughter of William A and Mary Corder Downey. She had lived in the Muscatine area most of her life and was married to Fred Nicklas.
Only survivors are a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and four sisters.
