THE OBITUARY OFHarriet Frances Alexander |
HARRIET FRANCES ALEXANDER, aged 20 years, wife of Alonzo James Alexander, died at the Jennie Edmundson Memorial Hospital Tuesday.
She was born in Council Bluffs and is survived by her husband and one son, John Alexander.
She was a member of the Knights and Ladies of Security.
The body was taken to King's parlors pending funeral arrangements.
A triple funeral will be held this afternoon for members of the HARRY J. OSTROM family, father, mother and daughter, whose deaths occurred during the week. Mrs. SARAH OSTROM and her daughter, Mrs. HARRIETT FRANCES ALEXANDER, wife of Alonzo James Alexander, died Tuesday, within an hour of each other, the mother at Mercy Hospital and the daughter at the Jennie Edmundson Memorial Hospital. The father, Harry J. Ostrom, died at the family home, 3628 Third Avenue early Thursday morning. All victims of the Spanish Influenza, the death of the father being influenced materially by the infirmities of age.
Mr. Ostrom was a retired railroad man, having been in the service of the Union Pacific road for forty-eight years. He was also an old soldier and had been in the navy.
Funeral services for the three members of the family will be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at King's Chapel, the Rev. F.W. Evans of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
