George Allen

George Allen, 73, Crescent Township farmer and life long resident of Honey Creek, died at his home Sunday after an illness of two years. Death was caused by a paralytic stroke.

Surviving him are his widow, Ella; one daughter, Mrs. May Hines, living at home; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Myers of Pleasant Hill, NJ, and two grandchildren.

The body was removed to Woodring's mortuary. Services will be held at the Latter Day Saint Church at Crescent. Elder D.R. Chambers of Magnolia will be in charge. Interment will be in the Allen Cemetery.

George Allen--Funeral

Funeral services for George Allen were held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Woodring's mortuary and at 2 p.m. at the Latter Day Saints Church at Crescent. Elder D.R. Chambers of Magnolia was in charge. Music was furnished by Mrs. Fred Jewell and Mrs. Julia Osborne.

Pallbearers were Henry, Andrew, George and John Points, and Oscar and Asa McIntosh. Interment was in the Allen Cemetery.
