John J. Armstrong

John J. Armstrong died Saturday evening at 6 o'clock at the residence of his son-in-law, D. J. Hutchison, of apoplexy at the age of 69.

The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the residence, the Rev. Dr. Phelps officiating. Interment will be at Walnut Hill.

Mr. Armstrong was a native of Manard County, Illinois and came to Council Bluffs about six years ago to make his home with his daughter, Mrs. Hutchinson. He leaves a wife, two sons and three daughters, one of whom is Mrs. C.R. Nicholson.
