THE OBITUARY OF

John Baldwin

John Baldwin

John Baldwin, the old gentleman who has for a number of years resided in a little hut on Bryant Street, died yesterday morning at an early hour. Several years ago he was stricken down with paralysis from which he never recovered. He was entirely helpless for a long time and a German friend who remained with him and cared for the sick man is entitled to much praise.

The funeral will take place from the undertaking rooms of W.C. Estep on North Main Street this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. G.W. Crofts of the Congregational Church will officiate.

Interment at Walnut Hill Cemetery. (No gravestone)
