Luzerba Bebbington

Luzerba Bebbington, 65, widow of the late George Bebbington, died yesterday at her home, 164 Park Avenue, of pneumonia following a severe attack of grip. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Ernest E. Hart, 525 Third Street, and a sister, Mrs. Katherine E. Cook, 244 Vine Street.

The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from the residence. Mrs. Bebbington was a devout member of the Episcopal Church, and her former rector, Rev. T.J. Mackay, now of All Saints Church, Omaha, will conduct the services. Burial will take place in Fairview cemetery.

Mrs. Bebbinton, before her marriage was Miss Dorland, and she came to Council Bluffs with her parents in 1850 from Mt. Vernon, Ohio, where she was born in 1843. She was married to George Bebbington, a prominent pioneer lumber merchant, April 6, 1865. Mr. Bebbington died about eighteen years ago. Besides her church affiliations, she was a member of the Ideal Club.

Mrs. Ernest Hart was present at her mother's death, having arrived yesterday morning from Chicago, where she was with Mr. Hart when notified of her mother's critical condition. Mr. Hart will reach here today. (Section B, Lot 201, March 3, 1843-January 15, 1908)
