Lena Beckwith

Lena Beckwith, age 63, died at 5:30 o'clock Friday morning after a prolonged illness. She suffered from a stroke of parlysis last September and had been in failing health since that time.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. W.F. Scholes, 1929 Avenue B, and one son, Alva A. Beckwith, 3718 North Forty Second Street, Omaha; two brothers, William Knatle of Los Angeles, California and Frank Knatle of Little Sioux, IA; and one sister, Mrs. J.W. Harper of Chicago, Illinois.

Mrs. Beckwith had been a resident of Omaha for the past twelve years, but had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. W.F. Scholes, for the past few months. She was a memer of the First Presbyterian Church of Omaha.

The body was removed to King's Parlors, where it will remain until the hour of the funeral. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the First Presbyterian Church of Council bluffs, Rev. Hunter, pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Omaha officiating. Interment will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
