THE OBITUARY OFEdwin H. Benton |
EDWIN H. BENTON, 75, pioneer resident and well-known life stock commission man, died early Friday morning at his home, 809 Fourth Avenue, after an illness of one year.
Mr. Benton was a familiar figure at the stock exchange in South Omaha and who was very well known throughout this county, was born in Farmington, Ohio, and had lived in Pottawattamie County and in Council Bluffs for fifty-seven years.
He is survived by his widow and two daughters, Mrs. Hubert Hicks and Mrs. Jere Van Rensselaer, Jr., of this city.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the residence, with burial in Fairview Cemetery.
