THE OBITUARY OF Matilda C. Bickford

Council Bluffs.---Mrs. Matilda C. Bickford, 75 years old, was found frozen to death in her home in Council Bluffs. The woman was in bed and her pet cat, still alive, was snuggled against her cold body.

There was a stove in the room and fuel for it but the woman evidently had lapsed into unconsciousness and died while in that state. Physicians said she had been dead probably two days.

Burial:
Walnut Hill Cemetery, on west side of Section L, has no stone.
