THE OBITUARY OFWilliam Albert Black |
WILLIAM ALBERT BLACK, aged 32 years, died of Spanish Influenza at 1 o'clock Sunday morning at Mercy Hospital, after an illness of ten days.
Mr. Black was manager of the Council Bluffs Carpet Cleaning Company and chancellor commander of St. Alban's Lodge No. 17, Knights of Pythias.
The family home was at 2527 Avenue C.
Mr. Black is survived by a wife and three sons: Gilman, Leroy and William A. Black.
The body was removed to Cutler's Parlors. Funeral services were held at Fairview Cemetery, Monday Afternoon at 1 o'clock on account of the nature of the disease. Rev. Crissman officiated and the Knights of Pythias gave their ritual.
