Clarence E. Blumer, 86, 211 Marian Avenue, died May 18 at Mercy Hospital. Mr. Blumer was born in Minden and was a longtime Council Bluffs resident. He worked for Dewall McKinley Construction Co. for many years. He retired in 1971 from the Pennsylvania Consumers Oil Co. where he worked in sales.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret; one sister, Elsie Pash of Elkhorn; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
