THE OBITUARY OFJames E. Bonar |
James E. Bonar, 62, 2211 S. 9th St., died Sunday at his home following a short illness. Born at Dunlap, he was a farmer in the Oakland vicinity and moved to Council Bluffs in 1955. He was employed by the Rock Island Railroad.
Survivors include: wife, Mildred I.; four sons, Robert E. of Spencer, Richard G. of Neola, William W. of Oakland and Raymond G. of Indianola; daughter Mrs. L. Wilson of Hyattsville, MD. Two brothers, John of Newberg, OR, and Jess of Storm Lake; two sisters, Elsie Keating living in Missouri and Nettie Price, living in Oregon; and 16 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at the Meyer Chapel. Arthur Collier, pastor of Southside Christian church will officiate. Interment will be at Fairview cemetery in Washington Township.
