Mrs. SOPHIA BRAINARD died at the Jennie Edmundson memorial Hospital Friday afternoon after six days' sickness of bronchial pneumonia. Mrs. Brainard was 80 years of age.

She leaves two sons, Egbert of Wells, Nevada, and George of Cottage Grove, Oregon and three daughters, Mrs. G.G. Clark of White Owl, South Dakota; Mrs. Jessie B. Wheelock of Miami, Florida and Mrs. J. P. Russell at 600 West Broadway, Apartment 6, Central Flats.

The body was taken to Woodring & Jackson's Chapel where services will be held at 3 o'clock Monday, the Christian Science Reader conducting the services. Tuesday it will be taken to Logan over the C & NW and from there by auto to Magnolia, where it will be laid to rest by the side of the husband at the old family home.

Mrs. Brainard was born at Fairfield and has been a resident of the state all her life.
