HARLAN - Erville Maxine Bryan was born to Cora (Stephens) and Cecil Stinemetz, October 3, 1928, at Garden City, KS. She was baptized at the Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Council Bluffs. Erville was a graduate of Clifton High School in Clifton, KS.

May 22, 1946, she married Lyle Blaine Bryan in Clifton, KS. To this union five children were born from 1952 to 1974, she was co-owner of the L.B.Bryan Sod company. Among many other duties, she kept the books and drove trucks. Erville was then employed as manager of the Logan-Missouri Valley Country Club. She managed the club for 11 years until retiring in 1985. As organizer of the Lions Club Annual Easter Egg Hunt held in Missouri Valley, she colored 144 dozen eggs for the event. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Harlan. She died April 15, 2002, at St. Joseph Hospital in Omaha, NE, at age 73 years, six months and 12 days.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her children. Lyle Ray Bryan (Sara) of Broomfiled, CO.; Vickie Lynn (Jimmy) Gillespie of Harlan; Debbie Lou Bryan of Roxborough Village, CO.; Cheri Lee Exckhoff of Harlan, Jeffrey Nolan Bryan (Donna) of Ft. Calhoun, NE; 14 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Lois (Vern) Stoll of Oakley, KS. and Barb (Bud) Steiner of South Sioux City, NE; one brother Elmer Stinemetz (Mary) of Hanston, KS; nieces and nephews and other relatives.
