Edwin E. Burke, 79, died at 11 a.m. Wednesday at his home, 108 South Ninth Street, after an illness of five days. He had been a resident of Council Bluffs fifty years. He was a retired watchman and a member of the First Christian Church.

Surviving are: six sons, three daughters and nine grandchildren. Woodring’s Funeral Home is in charge.
