Rose Francis Burke

Mrs. Rose Francis Burke, 72, died at her home, 2445 Fourth Avenue, early Monday morning after about six months general decline in health.

A native of Pottowattamie County, Kansas, Mrs. Burke has lived in Council Bluffs the last forty-six years. She was a member of the Christian Church.

Surviving are: her husband, Edwin E. Burke, six sons, Herbert, Edwin, Nichols and Percy Burke of Council Bluffs, Victor and William Burke of Omaha; three daughters, Mrs. Charles W. Mynett and Mrs. Peter Jorgensen of Council Bluffs and Mrs. J.D. Fisher of Savorton, Missouri; two sisters, Mrs. Hylia Allen and Mrs. Mary Ward, both of Council Bluffs and nine grandchildren.

The body is at Woodring’s Funeral Home.
