Catherine D. Burns, 74, of Neola died at a Council Bluffs hospital after a long illness. She was a native of Neola, resided many years in Omaha, and returned to Neola seven years ago. She was a member of St. Patricks Church, its Altar and Rosary Societies at Neola. She was a graduate of St. Joseph School at Neola, and the St. Catherine School of Nursing in Omaha.
