James Burns

James Burns, 61, cattle breeder died at his home 16 miles east of Council Bluffs on highway 6, Thursday afternoon. He was the youngest son of James Burns a Pottawattamie County pioneer and had lived all his life on the family farmstead. Funeral services will be at St. Patricks Church in Neola. The Rev. William Kleffman will officiate. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery at Neola.

He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Charles B. Flood and Mrs. James Brougham, both of Council Bluffs, and Ellen and Margaret Burns both at home; and three brothers, Edward and John M. Burns both of McClelland and Richard Burns of Council Bluffs.
