Survivors: wife, Sara J.; sons, Commdr. R.L. Canon, United States Navy, Long Beach, Cal., and Bert, Council Bluffs; four granddaughters.

Services 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Beem Belford Funeral Home. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Washington Township. (no gravestone)
