ANGELO CAPARELLI, 58, 239 Seventeenth Avenue, died Sunday morning at his home following a heart attack. The emergency unit crew placed a resuscitator in operation, administering oxygen to him until police brought a Jennie Edmundson Hospital intern to the home. He pronounced Caparelli dead. A resident of Council Bluffs since 1921, Caparelli was a retired Chicago Great Western railroad shop employee. He was a member of the Marconi society and the Italian Benevolent society of Omaha.

Surviving are: his widow, Grace; two sons, Joseph and Louie; four daughters, Philomena, Rosemary, Mary and Frances all of Council Bluffs; two sisters, Mrs. James Sparano of Oelwein and Josephine Caparelli in Italy.

The body will lie in state at the Beem-Belford Funeral Home until the hour of service, Wednesday at 10 a.m. Msgr. James P. Danahey will celebrate requiem mass at the St. Francis Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
