Spec. 4 Roger E. Carroll

Funeral services for Spec. 4 Roger E. Carroll, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth J. Carroll will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Joseph Gerlt will officiate. Military rites will be observed by local veterans. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery.

Carroll died of wounds received in action in Vietnam, October 30. He was born in Council Bluffs and was a 1967 graduate of Walnut High School. He entered the Army in February and left for Vietnam in June.

Survivors, besides his parents, include three brothers; Charles, Wade and Wray; four sisters, Faye, Lyla, Carla and Gayle; grandmother, Mrs. Lillie Rosenow of Harlan.
