Arthur W. Christensen, 81, 1919 S. 9th St., died of an apparent heart attack Wednesday while scooping snow at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Council Bluffs and retired in 1964 after many years as a produce manager. He was a longtime employee at the former Peoples Store grocery. He attended the Pentecostal Church of God. Survivors include three daughters, Ruth Jeffers of Omaha, Janet Cress of Council Bluffs, and Mary Bond of Ida Grove; nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Two brothers, Henry of Council Bluffs and Harold of Omaha; five sisters, Naomi Harold, Mari Ring and Margarette Jensen all of Council Bluffs, Vi Moore of Omaha and Evelyn Matuski of Naperville, IL. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cutler Funeral Home . The Rev. D. D. Parramore, pastor of the Pentecostal Church of God, will officiate. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
