August A. Christiansen

August A. Christiansen, 78, of Phoenix, AZ, died at his home after an extended illness. Born at Minden, he retired from farming in 1962 and moved into Council Bluffs. He has resided two years in Phoenix. He was a member of the Minden Congregational Church.

Survivors include: son, Dean C. of Phoenix; sister, Mrs. Marie Block of Missouri Valley; three brothers, Chris of Council Bluffs, Alvin of Omaha and Raymond of Driggs, Idaho; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at the Minden Congregational Church with the Rev. Claude W. Smith, Jr. officiating. Interment will be at the Minden Cemetery. (Section A, Row 14, 1887-1966)
