Christian Christiansen, 80, died at noon Sunday at his home in Honey Creek, after an illness of four days. He was born in Denmark in 1832 and had lived in Boomer Township for the past forty four years. He was a member of the Danish Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife and three sons, Nels, J.P., and Chris. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the residence, with services at 1:30 at the Danish Lutheran Church in Boomer Township. Rev. H. Nelson of the Boomer Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Danish Lutheran Cemetery.
