Word has been received by Mr. and Mrs. I.W. Collamore, 743 West Washington Avenue, announcing the death of their son, Howard Collamore, at Camp Dodge Thursday. Death was due to pneumonia, which developed from an attack of Spanish influenza.

The body is being brought to this city for funeral services and interment. He was 21 years of age and in the last draft, having been at the camp about one month. He was employed prior to going to camp at the Fricke drug store. Young Collamore was one of the popular young men of Council Bluffs and his demise is keenly regretted here.

Besides his parents, he is survived by one sister, Miss Blanche Collamore, at home.

The funeral of Howard Collamore who died of Spanish influenza at Camp Dodge, arrived Saturday evening and was taken to Corrigan's parlors and later to the home, 743 West Washington Avenue.

The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the residence. The Rev. Father McManus officiating. On account of the nature of the disease and the orders of the board of health the services will be held in open air.

Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

The funeral of Howard Collamore who died at Camp Dodge was held from the family home at 743 Washington Avenue, Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The reverend Wilford E. Mann of St. Paul's Episcopal Church officiated.

The following members of Company A acted as pallbearers: Sergeant Oscar Kost, Sergeant George Gretzer, Private George Decker, Private Harry Pfeiffer and Private Court Boysen. The firing squad under Captain Green fired three volleys over the grave and the buglers sounded taps.

Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
