Word was received here Wednesday of the death of HUGH COLSON at the state reformatory at Anamosa. Death was due to the Spanish influenza. Colson was sent to the institution in February 1915 for five years after conviction for breaking and entering a railroad car. The body will probably be brought here for burial.
The body of Hugh Colson, who died of Spanish influenza at Anamosa Tuesday, arrived here Thursday and was taken to Cutler's parlors.
The funeral was held Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock with services at the grave in Walnut Hill Cemetery, the Rev. Hower officiating.
