THE OBITUARY OFMary Elizabeth Craft |
Mary Elizabeth Craft, 81, a pioneer resident of Pottawattamie County, died Sunday morning at 11:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albert Thomas, 710 South 23rd Street.
Mrs. Craft, whose husband had been a farmer, lived on a farm in Washington Township for the last 50 years. She was born in Ottumwa in 1847. Mrs. Craft died following an illness of five weeks caused by advanced age. Her husband died fifteen years ago.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Albert Thomas at whose home she died, and Mrs. George Taylor of Carson, Mrs. John Rounds of McClelland, Mrs. Jessie Williams of Oakland; three sons, J. A. Craft of Neola, Otis Craft of Logan and Charles Craft of Council Bluffs. There are also sixty four grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Fairview Church in Washington Township. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. (Section C, Row 6, January 1, 1847-February 26, 1928)
