Gustav F. Dau

Gustav F. Dau, 79, of Minden died at a Council Bluffs hospital after a short illness. Born in York Township, he resided on the same farm until moving to Minden a year ago. He was a World War I Army veteran and member of the Minden United Church of Christ.

Survivors include four sisters: Elsie K. Dau with whom he resided, Mrs. Anna M. Lamp and Mrs. Meta M. Merket both of Minden and Mrs. Ella M. Matthiesen of Omaha.

Funeral services will be at the Meyer Chapel in Council Bluffs. The Rev. Claude W. Smith, Jr., pastor of the Minden United Church will officiate. Interment will be at the Minden Cemetery. (1894-1973)
