Earl Deakins

A prayer service for Earl Deakins, 70, of 1580 N. Broadway, will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Meyer Funeral Home, Interment will be at Branson cemetery near Loveland.

Born at Oklahoma City, Okla., he formerly farmed in the Branson and Honey Creek areas. He was also a former railroad employee.

Only survivors are nieces and nephews.

Deakins died Monday at a Council Bluffs hospital after a short illness
