ANNA H. DeGROAT, aged 75 years, died of dropsy Friday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Brandt Crocker, 726 Willow Avenue, after an illness of six weeks. Mrs. DeGroat came to Council Bluffs in 1870.

She is survived by two sons: T. Fred DeGroat, a letter carrier of this city and Mark DeGroat of Chicago, and two daughters, Mrs. Brandt Crocker, Council Bluffs, and Mrs. F.E. Batchelor, Los Angeles, California.

The deceased was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.

The body was taken to Woodring's parlors. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Father Powell of St. Francis Church officiating.
