Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Denning, 69, died at her home at 308 Stutsman Street early Sunday morning of general decline following several years' illness. She had lived in Council Bluffs only five years, being formerly a resident of Neola. She was a member of the Altar Society and Catholic Daughters of America.

Surviving are her husband, Theodore; three sons, William of Shelby, James of Council Bluffs and Maurice of Neola; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Green of Neola and Mrs. Eleanor Lyman of Council Bluffs; three brothers, James Kelly of Hillsboro, John Kelly of Douglas, NE, and William Kelly of Gainesville, TX; and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Merotta of Chicago.

The body was removed from Beem Belford Funeral Home to the residence, where it will lie in state until the hour of the funeral. Burial will be in Neola Catholic Cemetery on Tuesday.
