SAMUEL F. DICKESON, aged 21 years, a switchman for the Union Pacific road, died at the Jennie Edmundson Memorial Hospital Sunday afternoon as the result of injuries sustained Saturday night when he was caught between cars while making a coupling.

Mr. Dickeson resided with his mother, Mrs. M. Herman. Besides his mother he leaves a stepfather and two brothers, Oscar T. Dickeson in France and David W. Dickeson at home. He was a member of the Brotherhood or Railway Trainmen.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock at the residence, 3649 Avenue A. The body will be taken to Ottumwa for burial.
