Arnold Dollen, 54, Minden, died Tuesday in a Lincoln, NE, hospital after an illness of over one year. Dollen had been hospitalized for three weeks. For the last 35 years, he operated a retail oil business in Minden. Dollen was born in Minden and spent his entire life in Minden. He was a member of the American Legion and the Congregational Church. He was a navy veteran of World War I.

Survivors are: widow, Sadie; daughter, Mrs. Gloria Jane Lamp of Minden; four brothers, Rudolph, Theodore, Elmer and Harry all of Minden; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Ambrose of Little Sioux, Mrs. Hertha Kasiske of Minden, and Mrs. Anita Kadel of Honey Creek.
