Hanna Sexton Downs, 90, life long resident and member of one of the county's pioneer families, died at 10:30 p.m. Saturday. She was born in 1856 near Macedonia and in recent years resided at Lake Manawa. Mrs. Downs died four years to the day after husband, John W. Downs. She was a member of the Reorganized Latter Day Saints Church.

Surviving are two sons: Jack W. Downs of Council Bluffs, Marion of Idaho Falls, ID; six daughters, Mrs. Clara Roger and Mrs. Naomi Brackney of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Grace Cross of Neola, Mrs. Jestie Fouts of Idaho Falls, Mrs. Nellie Ottman of Hot Springs, SD and Mrs. Nettie South of Huntington Park, CA.

Woodring's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in the Downsville Cemetery near Underwood.
