James Driver, 70, 238 Locust Lodge, died Sunday at his home after a long illness. He was a lifelong resident of Boomer Township. His parents had been pioneers of that section. Mr. Driver, a retired farmer, was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include: widow, Helen; three daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Royer of Neola, Miss Pearl and Miss Opal both of Council Bluffs; three brothers, Albert and Edwin of Council Bluffs, and Thomas of Honey Creek; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Benson, Mrs. Lillie Osborn and Mrs. Mabel Hough all of Council Bluffs; and four grandchildren.
