THE OBITUARY OFMrs. Jane Evans |
Mrs. Jane Evans, aged 70 years, wife of Joseph Evans, died at 10 a.m. Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Daisy Hathaway, 600 South Sixth Street, from paralysis, after a week's illness.
Mrs. Evans was born in Wales and has been a resident of Pottawattamie County for forty-eight years.
Besides her husband she leaves four children, Mrs. Daisy Hathaway, at whose home she died, Mrs. Minnie Hathaway, Mrs. Candace Watson, and Joseph Evans, all of this city. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Sarah Evans, who resides here.
Arrangements for the funeral have not yet been made.

The funeral of Mrs. Jane Evans, who died Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Daisy Hathaway, 600 South Sixth Street, will be held at 11:30 o'clock Sunday morning at the Latter Day Saints' Church on Pierce Street.
The services well be in charge of Rev. Joshua Carlyle of Underwood and burial will occur in the Evans Cemetery in Hazel Dell Township.
