Lester E. Felton, 80, of Neola died Wednesday at a local hospital following a short illness. He was born and raised on a farm near Neola.

Surviving are his wife, Laura, son, Richard J. Felton of Oakland; daughter, Mrs. Lyle (Nancy) Campbell of Downers Grove, IL; two brothers, James E. and Paul P. Felton both of Neola; two sisters, Anna Dobernecker of Avoca and Sophia Bullock of Springfield, MO; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
