Margaret Filbert, 71, mother of Norman H. Filbert of Joe Smith and Company died at noon Thursday after three years illness with heart disease, diabetes, and hardening of the arteries. Her home was at 152 Harrison Street.

The body was removed to Cutler's Funeral Home. Mrs. Filbert was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Another son, R.L. Filbert of Minneapolis also survives.
