THE OBITUARY OF

C. W. Foster

C. W. Foster

Advices received in Council Bluffs tell of the death at Early, Friday of Capt. C.W. Foster, for many years prior to 1906 sexton of Fairview Cemetery and a well-known pioneer of Council Bluffs.

Captain Foster retired from his position with the Fairview Cemetery Association when he suffered a stroke of paralysis and shortly afterward went to Early, where he made his home with the family of a daughter, Mrs. A.H. Graham.

Captain Foster was about 80 years old and a member of Bluff City Lodge No. 71, A.F. & A.M. of Council Bluffs.

Burial will be at Early (Iowa), beside the body of his wife, who died many years ago.
