Valentina Garcia--Obituary

Mrs. Valentina Garcia, 40, 1003 Fourteenth Avenue, died Saturday afternoon at a local hospital from a stomach ailment after two weeks’ illness.

Surviving are her husband, Claro Garcia; one son, Ines Garcia and five daughters, Alegandra, Paula, Aristea, Santos and Nestora Garcia.

The body was removed to the Beem-Belford Funeral Home and will be taken to the residence today to lie in state until the funeral, Monday at 9 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier’s Church. Requiem Mass will be celebrated by Rev. J. P. Danahey. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Valentina Garcia—Funeral Services

Funeral services for Mrs. Valintia Garcia were held at St. Francis Church Monday at 9 a.m. Requiem Mass was celebrated by Rev. Michael Flood. Pallbearers were: Profirio Basquez, Ray Rocha, Jesus Sunside, Thomas Cruiz, Luis Ruiz and Casey Rodrigues. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery.
