Alvin Jesse Gatrost, 75, Underwood, died Thursday after a period of general decline. He was a life long resident of this county.

Surviving are: his wife, Daisy; a son, Lloyd of Council Bluffs; three brothers, Will of Pisgah, Forest in Kentucky and John in Alma, KS; three sisters, Mrs. Ada Schmaedecke of Underwood, Mrs. Eva Allen of Weston and Mrs. Vera LaValley of Logan.

Funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m., Nels Johnson of the Underwood Reorganized Latter Day Saints Church officiating. Burial will be in Downsville Cemetery.
