Thomas Amos Granshaw

THOMAS AMOS GRANSHAW, 51, a resident of Council Bluffs all his life died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday at the family residence, 1519 S. Seventh Street. Death was caused by Nephritis, a kidney disease. Mr. Granshaw had been ill for two weeks.

Mr. Granshaw, a railroad switchman, was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, No. 250, and the First Christian Church. The body was removed to the Cutler mortuary. He is survived by one son, Dale Ivan Granshaw and one grandchild.

Funeral

Funeral services for Thomas Amos Granshaw were held Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Cutler Chapel with Rev. H.J. Howard, pastor of the First Christian Church officiating. Music was furnished by Mrs. H.J. Howard and Mrs. R.O. Williams. Pallbearers, all members of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen, of which Mr. Granshaw was a member, were: Fred Asmussen, John Nugent, J.A. McGuire, H.L. Jones, J. Whaley, T.C. Madison. Burial was in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
