George Graves 82, died Thursday at midnight after an illness of a week due to a complication of diseases resulting from old age. Mr. Graves was born at Bancock, MD, on September 12, 1819, and came to Council Bluffs in 1863, since which time he had continued to be a resident of the city. He was the father of eight children, seven of whom are now living.
